Last week Idol Gave Back and left us with the Top 6 for the performances this week. With Bon Jovi songs as the theme and Jon Bon Jovi mentoring the Idols anything could happen. The powers of Idol have already predicted Chris and Phil will go home. Will that be the case? First the performances. Ladies and Gents, your Top 6 again.

Judges Thoughts : (R) I am happy for you. I actually recorded that song. Other than country week this is your best performance. (P) This is the best opening we have had all season long. (S) I thought it was ok. In the middle I thought you were a bad actor looking for a role. I don’t think you have done enough to last till next week.
DJSlim’s Thoughts : I am sure it sounded better in person. It was good. A good start to the night. Don’t know if it is enough to keep him another week with 2 going home tomorrow. 20/25

Judges Thoughts : (R) You are not the rock girl. It wasn’t your best. (P) You went for it even knowing it was out of your range. (S) Cue the boo’s in advance. The look is something out of the Adams Family. The singing was out of control. It was verging on shrieking sometimes.
DJSlim’s Thoughts : Tough theme for any of the girls that are left but I think Jordin handled it well especially for 17. I actually preferred it to Phil so far. 21/25

Judges Thoughts : (R) That was hot. (P) You put yourself out there. This was your night. (S) Half the audience will love and half will hate it but that was the right thing to do. You took a massive risk and this is what will keep you in the competition next week.
DJSlim’s Thoughts : I don’t know what to say. I am not sure if I liked it or not. I sort of did and sort of thought it was corny. ?/25

Judges Thoughts : (R) You did you thing. I liked that. (P) You did your thing. (S) I think you did as much as you possibly could with that song. Whether its good enough to stay another week, I am not sure.
DJSlim’s Thoughts : The closest thing to a Bon Jovi original tonight but it wasn’t the best. Parts were good, parts were screamed.. Just like Phil I am afraid it won’t be enough to keep him in. 18/25

Judges Thoughts : (R) Great performance again. That was hot. (P) From the first note it was on. You’re a rockstar. (S) I thought it was like a young Tina Turner. Vocally in a different league to everyone else tonight.
DJSlim’s Thoughts : Great way to end the show even for someone who doesn’t think she can sing rock. Melinda can sing anything. She knows that and once again proved it. 23/25

I must admit now American Idol is start to look like a competition. I would have to say that was the best night of performances yet this season. I am glad now they let all 6 compete. Tomorrow will be tough. Everyone did well but 2 must go. I am going with the odds and not exactly with what my raw scores for tonight may be.
