Anyone who comments about “fat jiggling” isn’t someone watching this competition for the singing. Therefore your later comments are a bit hypocritical. If this is truly about “talent” as you say it is, it shouldn’t matter the size or shape of one of the contestants, Think about this….Jordin could very well win this thing… will it be fine with you when she comes out to promote her album 30 pounds thinner the way Carrie and KAtherine did? Making comments about anyone’s “fat” promotes exactly what is wrong with our entertainment world.

I think Katharine McPhee is gorgeous, so is Carrie Underwood and lots of others too, but I can’t think right now.

Melinda came out too popular imo. Now she has to beat her own performance to make an impact. And yes, I don’t like the gile reaction all the time.
Sanjaya has sucked for so long, people think he’s okay when he’s mediocre.
Lakisha definately needs to wear clothes that fit better. There’s nothing wrong with being overweight but she’s fooling herself if she thinks she can look good in some of those outfits.
Some of the guys have had good moments but they don’t seem to stand out for me at least as a champion.
Jordin has a powerhouse voice and I hope she shows it off more.
I am at the point where, if Shitjaya lasts much longer, I am not going to watch this show anymore. Which is sad because I usually enjoy the show.

To me, Blake was the clear winner this week. Phil and Haley teetering on the edge. Chris and Jordin somewhere in the middle. Lakisha goes home tonight.

His loser hair, loser looks and fake smile are reminiscent of a certain Michael Jackson that used to be in the headlines all the time.
He should just come out on stage with his dick stuck in between his legs – we know that’s all he really wants to show us!
:em25: I get it. We’re all pissed off at the way the show is being run this year. We are disappointed and disgruntled at the lack of talent. We are all looking for that total package: looks, voice, showmanship and that elusive “it” factor.
Take Jennifer Hudson. It doesn’t matter that she didn’t win AI, she has won so many awards she needs a bigger house to keep them in. She has the package whether you like full-figured girls or not. She has had the whole package all along but now the World knows it.
This season is as entertaining as watching paint dry. I have been looking for nice things to say about the contestants, except Sanjaya, and I am done. Let the chips fall where they may. I have no favorites. Frankly, I am bored with this season of AI. I can only hope that next season will be better.
Tradesports has Lakisha going home by a huge margin. Tradesports has been more accurate than DialIdol this season. We will see.
Dial Idol is actually very accurate. If you look at the left it gives a highest and lowest ranking. This takes into account the margin of error. Unfortunately, This doesn’t help much when all but one of the contestestants can be in the bottom three and only 2 are safe from going home. Dial Idol’s biggest problem is that it does not take into account text votes…does anyone have the information on percentages for those anyways?? If you put the mouse on the persons name it explains to you what the score me. Last year there was a much bigger discrepency in votes. That either means that this years race has no clear favorites, or that there are more phone lines to get through on. Either way, don’t dis dialidol yet, it still has been on for the most part. We all know haley and phil are in the bottom three, it’s the third person that is hard to figure out. my guess is that it’s chris, sanjaya, or one of the two big girls…….
SIgh, what a weak show. Looks have nothing to do with whether someone can sell records. If you think the contestants are ugly, then listen from another room (although they still won’t sound great). Talent works but alas, where is it? I just hope next season improves because this one is just lame. While I like some of them, it’s basically a lackluster season.
I still think that Jordin, Melinda and Lakisha have the most SINGING talent. Others in the group have things going for them as a package but when it comes down to pure vocal ability, none of the others complete, for me.
What’s amazing is that two of those three are listed in the bottom DI results. If both Jordin and Lakisha end up in the bottom three tonight I may never watch this show again. And if one of those two goes home while ShitJaya stays, it will be a laughing stock.
Here’s to hoping DI is screwed up, the batteries go dead on the teen bimbos’ cell phones and that America votes for talent vice with their crotch. I like watching AI but if this crap keeps up, it will just piss me off instead of entertain me.
And if I wanted to be pissed off all the time, I would just go get married :em32:

Actually, I wouldn’t be surprised if DialIdol was getting a kickback from AI to misrepresent the polling results. Hey, I just started another conspiracy theory. Pats myself on back
Yeah but the DI hasn’t been all that on this year, at least not from what little I’ve kept up with it. They marked Phil as going home last week they listed Gina, Lakisha & Haley as the bottom three with Haley going home. I suppose one could argue two out of three ain’t bad. This week they’re saying Chris, Jordin & Lakisha are the bottom three, yet I don’t think any of us will be surprised if Leggs goes home this week.
I dunno what it is, but DI is off. Last year they were spot on most of the time, but they don’t seem to be all that close this year.
Anyway, should they happen to be right I think it will touch off a nice firestorm. Gina was a surprise last week, maybe not a huge one, but of those three only Chris wouldn’t be a “shocker”. I think Kiki’s time is coming, maybe it’s tonight but Jordin, I think is better than she’s getting the apparent votes for. Maybe she’s splitting with Kiki and if she goes it’ll help J out.
Dunno, the whole thing is just weird this year.

joyce, you’re right. apathetic is the word of the season. i took my necessary week off from idol-watching, but i’ll pick back up next week (i did watch the clips on the front page, thanks slim). i just don’t care who wins. the only interesting person left is blake, & i won’t be surprised if he goes the way of gina soon… :em39: :em39: :em39:
Lakisha is primed to go home. And in my mind, it was long overdue. I might even risk my reputation by saying Sanjaya has more Idol appeal than Lakisha. But I won’t.
I am not suprised at the results so far. I honestly think that these top 8 except for Haley are UGLY. I may be wrong but I personally dont buy music badly sung by buttugly people. Producers may be able to make them sound reasonable but no producer can make ANY of them look like stars This bunch will never achieve what the some of the previous winners have done, namely have top selling albums
I think we’re just numb, Slim. The singing is lacking this year, we know Sanjaya will be promoted every week, we just don’t care anymore. This won’t keep us from watching, mind you, but we’re just not surprised by any of the outcomes anymore. Ya know? I mean, had Dialidol’s results been a shocker, you couldn’t have stopped the comments from flowing. But we’re all just like, “eh, who cares.” Apathetic would be the word I guess.
