What concert was this though
It was on PBS last night. They spent a lot of time talking about the injured Vets and the care they need. The music was good but lots of it was very depressing.
It is depressing, I’m a vet who never asked for any help from V A in over 30 years untill I lost my job and needed medicine, they would not touch me due to Bush budget cuts. I’ll try and catch that show on a PBS rerun.

Yeah Doc. Nam and Korea were the wars that were not won. Never mind the 54 plus thousand of American lives lost in Korea or the 56 thousand plus in nam. But it all spells death no matter how you put it. God rest their souls and bless their families. We will always remember them all when we see the red white and blue of Old Glory proudly waving in the sky. They sacrificed the ultimate price so we could come home and our children would live free. Every one remember to pray for our troops still in combat today and their families at home.

What a beautiful girl with a beautiful voice. Wow.
Thanks for posting this, Slim.
Kat was terrific at the Memorial Day Concert. She looked better than Katie Holmes.
Korea and Viet Nam barely got mentioned. WW II and Iraq/Afghanistan got all the air time.
Funny note: The soundtrack was a half second off from the video for the entire 90 minutes.
