Oh, I think no matter what they are both getting records deals from 19 as will Allison and maybe Matt. Danny will get a deal but I don’t think with 19. I think Anoop, Alexis, Scott and maybe Megan will also have records within the year.

America IS great, and it’s not because of ANY American Idol winner.
If Kris wins he’ll be able to stop world hunger, drug trafficking, crime and the recession!!
If Adam wins, all those things will continue to run rampant throughout the world!

American Idol is a show for entertainment purposes. The outcome does NOT define America or it’s current standards about anything.

Couldn’t agree more. Didn’t realize the world was judging us by our musical taste.
They have both done a great job and will both do well regardless of the outcome. While between Adam and Kris, I do prefer Adam’s singing, the world will not be deprived if he doesn’t win a singing contest. He’s left his mark and will continue to perform.

WOW. If Kris wins it’s because AMerican’s are homophobes? I think that is and of itself, ignorant. Why isn’t this about talent and preference instead of people who are defensive and want to preach and whine that ohhh poorr ADAM he will only lose because of “homophobes”. OR it could happen for the reality of it that Kris is more talented. Why don’t you people who want to complain and gripe about American’s “disliking gays” go create a picket sign and do something about your whiney views instead of ASSUMING that if Adam loses it’s because he’s gay. Ugh. Give me a break people.
The last time the final two were both in the yellow on Dialidol was for Carrie/Bo and they still had Carrie on top. I hope it rings true for Kris.

If they have to have the finalists sing a “victory song” – can the please find one of the classic songwriters to write it? — the online competition idea produced a dud — and now we got this “No Boundaries” thing written by Kara Dioguardi and others.
So the final round turned into whether these two unstoppable artists could take on the immovable object
First it was Adam’s turn and he fought valiantly — at first it seemed the song was too much, but then Adam summoned his deepest emotions and his best wails and it looked like Adam was going to prevail – but the song then switched to a boring key and launched another stream of cliches – and then Adam countered with an even better vocal run — and then the round ended. Both sides fought well, but neither was able to conquer the other.
Then it was Kris’s turn. This one was no contest — the song had Kris pinned to the mat within the first 10 seconds and was in full control throughout. Kris made a couple half-hearted attempts to get off the mat, but he soon realized it was futile. If Adam’s full repertoire of vocal powers couldn’t defeat it, there was no chance for Kris.
Next year — have someone like Elton John or Billy Joel write the song.
