Oh, what I’d give to have Simon critique him like he does the Idols! “Coach, which isn’t even your real name. Why don’t you just use your real name? I don’t understand that. Anyhow, I think calling yourself by the name ‘Dragonslayer’ is quite self-indulgent, don’t you think? You need to just be true to yourself and show us who YOU are, not just some comic strip caricature.” Hee Hee!!!
Coach didn’t come up with the Dragon Slayer name. He even said so to Jeff at Tribal Council. He’s just accepting the title that the rest of the tribe has given him. What else can he do?
I don’t deny they gave him the name originally, but he’s the only one perpetuating it. In every episode, he uses the term about 5 times to describe himself in his one-on-one interviews. “They” don’t continue to call him that like he made it sound to his asst. coach. HE calls himself that.
Coach didn’t come up with the Dragon Slayer name. He even said so to Jeff at Tribal Council. He’s just accepting the title that the rest of the tribe has given him. What else can he do? I feel bad for him that Debbie tried to stab him in the back though, and he looked so hurt and confused at TC about it. Just like after the last TC when Erinn wrote down Steven’s name and he said “People who don’t play this game half as honestly as me, half as boldly as me, PISS ME OFF!” I’m sure Coach is going to lay it down next week, and it’s going to be awesome.
I just hope he can somehow pull this out. It seems like almost everyone is against him at this point, so he’s going to have to win a key immunity, or maybe more than one, if he hopes to advance to the Final and win. I’m praying for him that he finds it in his warrior heart to do it!

What a dumb choice to have Taj make. So she can either take her husband back to camp with all the other survivors, but their loved ones can’t come - or - she can give everyone else a chance to see their loved one, thus scoring points for herself, AND she gets total privacy with her husband on exile island. Um, gee, which one should she take?
Of all the people Coach could’ve requested to come see him, he brings his assistant coach?? What?? Has he no family? Oh, and telling the guy that “they” call him Dragon Slayer? No they don’t. What an ego.
Coach is so eyeroll-inducing for me!

one of coach’s best lines:
“you know what they call me? the dragon slayer”
no coach, only you do that hahaha
I love the episodes where family gets to visit!! Yay!
Great “Loved Ones” episode.
