Here is the Idol Radio Show hosted by Sir Darryl and Alan Attebery from last night.

Michael Sarver’s elimination leaves 9, not that The Idol Radio Show guys were really surprised by that.

Sir Darryl threatens to quit right off the bat tonight when Alan mentions just how much Ruben Studdard sweated on the American Idol stage tonight. Sweat totally disgusts Darryl, and watching the exchange between Ruben and Ryan Seacrest after the performance really turned Darryl’s stomach. Alan then asks Darryl if he found the duet between Smokey Robinson and Joss Stone as horrid as he did. Regular caller Tidus calls in to let Darryl know that he is sending Darryl a bottle of sweat, a thought that really grosses Darryl out. This sends Darryl on yet another 5-minute sweat rant. The guys then talk about the bad lip-syncing performance during the Group Number tonight, leading Alan to wonder why they would start doing that this. Darryl mentions how shocked Megan Corkrey looked when she was told she wasn’t in the Bottom 3 tonight. This leads Deb from Vote For The Worst to call into the show and brag about how VFTW was responsible for Megan staying out of the Bottom 3. This evolves into a discussion about Megan’s voice and sleeve tattoos. Alan ends the first part of the show with contempt for Darryl and once again fires him.

After the break, Alan introduces his new co-host, Angie from IdolBlogLive.com. Unfortunately, Darryl once again doesn’t take to his firing and joins the two. Alan takes the Angie’s appearance as an opportunity to prove that not only is DJSlim Howard Stern in disguise, but that Angie is actually Robin Quivers in disguise. The group then talks about whether the judges were really undecided on whether to use the Judges Save on Michael Sarver. The three end the show with a long discussion about whether the Bottom 3, and/or American Idol as a whole, is rigged.

During the show, Alan gives out the sixth of eight American Idol contestant names in the Idol Observer Idol Watching Survivor Kit contest. Once you have four names, send them to contest@idolradioshow.com to be entered to win one of two Idol Observer Idol Watching Survivor Kits. The Idol Radio Show will be broadcast every Tuesday and Wednesday night at 11PM EST.

  1.
What is that song you played to introduce Angie?
It was the theme song for the old “Electra Woman and Dyna Girl” TV shorts that was part of the Saturday morning Kroft Superstars series.

You can see one of the episodes here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kw2nb-DHmfA

Hey Darryl, In case you have not heard. Amanda Overmyer has just finished her very first album. It is completely written and composed by her[ is that not an almost unheard of feat within itself for a first timer]?
But that’s not all,It will be released on “Her” “very’ “own” RECORD LABEL. Can you believe it man?
What a ballsy, independent Lady. She has entitled it simply Chile records, it will be available Itunes and her website in DEC. this year.
Man I am like so pumped for this. She thumbed her nose at American Idol, they kicked her off knowing she was a great talent and finally her moment of truth is on the horizon.
She will most likely never adorn great fame but I’m certain she will have a large enough cult following to assure her a continuing career.
[I would love to Harley ride with her sometime.]
Her raw natural singing ability is amazing. I hope there are some boogie blues on it as well as rock & roll.
It still baffles me how unappreciated she was on television. She is like the male Bob Seger or Rod Stewart.
But Janis Joplin was a long time ago and the blues ain’t loved like they used to be man.
The title for her first CD is still undecided.
