adam and danny did a great job as well as allison..meagans was ok..but i can’t stand her voice..still
Allison and Megan, great in the studio as usual.
Jeez, you’re right Slim. nothing good this time :dizzy:
Good way to garontee karoke making sing to the original tracks…
I didn’t like any of the studio recordings this week either, but I might have a different reason for it than Slim.
I feel like they just took their vocals and pasted them along with the melody, which for some of them, the transition didn’t work well at all. Megan’s came out much better than expected, imo, but I felt like it, along with the others, was too “cut and paste” to get into. Would have been better to do an improvisational melody with each than having them sing to the original track. I’m sure the powers that be meant well, but I don’t think it was a good choice.
I actually didn’t like any of the studio versions at all
Megan sounded great in studio. Very jazzy and fun. I listened to it a couple times. She seems so relaxed and carefree, but the pressure on stage must really get to her. She was terrible this week, I hope she can turn it around. Oh, and Lil, Danny, who’s that? Weren’t they voted off already?
The guys, in my opinion, are by far the best this year. As good as Allison is, I would never buy her music. Or Lil’s. I think I could by Megan’s music, simply because she is so unique.
As far as the guys go, I could see myself buying Danny’s, Matt’s, Kris’ and maybe Anoop’s CD’s. DEFINITELY Danny and Matt’s, though !
Oh… and LOVED Matt!!! But the heart emotes are only for  Danny
Haven’t listened to Michael, Anoop, or Scott. Don’t really have the desire to. Maybe later. Right now, LIFE calls. And I don’t have an answering machine.
Kris – good on the voice and all. Love the Justin. But the track really sucks. Very Partridge family. Listen to Tracy on that tambourine!!!! Watch Mom & Lori bob their heads up and down.
I think I’m over Lil. Unless she does a blow-me-away song in the next couple weeks, she’s been replaced by Allison.

I will admit fully to actually liking Adam’s studio this week. About 2/3 into it he loses me for a bit with that high-pitched crap. I would put it on my mp-3 player, but when it got to that part it would irritate me and I’d forward to the next song, but at the gym I don’t always have my hands free, so I’d get ticked, then I’d have to yell at or hurt someone or myself, and we can’t have that, so it’s not getting downloaded by me.

That is such my kind of reasoning! you are sooo funny!!
Welcome to my brain and it’s thought process.
I kinda like Megan’s studio more than her live version. Her quirky kinda worked in this song. I’m so wishy-washy on that girl. It really depends on the song for me with her. Dawg.

Allison did lose a little of her “edge” in the studio. I think she held back. Still like it, but it didn’t blow me away like it did live.
I like Danny, but didn’t like him live last night or in the studio today. Not this song.
Lil is just plain shouting, I have almost got a headache now. Thank you very much.
Crab-Beeeeeee!!!!
Lil is not a favorite of mine, but she did an OK job. Sounds a tad shouty or just LOUD to me, but I liked it better than her live version. Won’t be downloading this one.
I have to laugh because I read the word “shouty” totally in a Simon accent without even thinking about it first. He says that so much that it just came to me that way!
I grew us cruising Whittier Blvd. and Matt’s version of “Let’s Get It On” and Anoop’s rendition of :Oh Baby, Baby” just took me back to my oldies but goodies cruising music roots.
Wow… I just heard Megan’s studio version and I thought it was MUCH better than the live version… Okay, it still wasn’t perfect but at least I can see what she was trying to attempt…lol
HATED the backup singers and the loooong harmonica solo though…
