Motown came to Hollywood tonight, and The Idol Radio Show guys were not all that impressed.

Darryl and Alan start the show off by talking about Adam Lambert’s performance and style of dress tonight. Darryl thinks the look change could backfire on him, but Alan thinks his fan base will understand that it was just a one-off style tonight and that it will help him win over new fans. They guys also talk about Scott MacIntyre for a while. Alan wonders whether Scott should take Paula’s advice about getting rid of the piano one night, an idea that Darryl thinks would ensure his exit from the show. Alan also wonders if the judges would come down harder on anyone else who played the piano each and every week.

Charlie Spillers joins the guys after the break. Michael Sarver is the first contestant the three talk about, who Charlie thinks has lost some of his charisma on stage. Kris Allen is next, a contestant who Charlie thinks is very underrated. Alan agrees with this, and the two defend Kris against ChurckRitt’s comments on IdolBlogLive.com that Kris is bland. Darryl then talks about Lil Rounds, again reiterating his belief that she just does not have the vocal chops that others, including Alan, thinks she has. Alan decides to then talk about Megan Corkrey, his pick for the worst of the night. Charlie and Darryl do think she was bad tonight but think she has been good up until now, something that Alan vehemently disagrees with. The guys end the night talking quickly about Allison Iraheta’s excellent performance and noting that she would have mos likely been in the Bottom 3 if not for being in the final spot of the night.
