Here is the Idol Radio Show hosted by Sir Darryl and Alan Attebery from last night.

The first two people have been eliminated on American Idol, yet 75% of the conversation was all about the new one-time Veto power the judges have.

Sir Darryl’s first question of the night is regarding the new Veto power, which sets the tone for the entire show. Dr. Electro, an IdolBlogLive.com Moderator, calls into the show which prompts Alan to debut the new theme song for the entire IdolBlogLive.com membership. Dave from Vote For The Worst then calls into the show to call Alan a douche for making a joke at Amanda Overmeyer’s expense after she called into the show last week. Idol Observer then calls in and quickly lets his anger loose over the new Veto power (told you that’s about all they talked about tonight).

After the break, Deb from Vote For The Worst calls in to complain about the new Veto power as well and promptly accuses Alan of drinking the American Idol kool-aid, a charge Alan denies. As proof, Alan offers up a Season 5 contestant that he liked that most people did not like. Charlie Spillers then joins the show, much to the delight of Angie from IdolBlogLive.com. However, Charlie’s first statement of the night is about how big Kelly Clarkson has gotten, which causes Angie to wash her hands clean of Charlie. The guys then end the night talking about, what else, the new Veto power.

During the show, Alan gives out the second of eight American Idol contestant names in the Idol Observer Idol Watching Survivor Kit contest. For more information and all the rules, visit page.

The Idol Radio Show will be broadcast every Tuesday and Wednesday night at 11PM EST.

[quote comment="54107"]i just needed to vent about a few things…

    - i really dont think its fair that AI shows some of the contestants life stories and tragedies from the very beginning…it favors them unfairly

    - another thing the 4 judges are annoying…it’s the same ol sh*t…DAWG and Kara with Paula playing with Simon….they need to change the judges totally…Seacrest needs to relax with his intro to the show…we know he gets paid big bucks but so does Dick Clark but he wasn’t as annoying as Seacrest

    - lastly…Paula made me want to throw up while she was dancing to Jorges final song…just before they gave him the disrespectful “NO”…but what i really don’t undertsand is …why did they even go to Puerto Rico???…is PR part of USA?…it is all planned…there would have never benn a Puerto Rican Idol named American Idol….if that is the case…they might as well have gone to Cuba, Mexico or even Canada….the show used to be fun to watch…and the BS was tolerable until the other night….

Puerto Rico is a self-governing commonwealth in association with the United States. The chief of state is the President of the United States of America. …IMO I don’t find Ryan annoying at all, he is just doing his job and doing it well (I would like to dress him better). Every week I look forward to hearing Ryan say “This is American Idol”. This show wouldn’t be the same without the judges that have been with the show from season one. Well, it would be ok to loose Kar-ha. I am not caring about her or her opinions very much. Life stories and tragedies about the contestants adds to the entertainment value of the show and has never made anyone win or lose. Just my opinion

Might want to study up on your geography there. Puerto Rico is a self-governing unincorporated territory of the United States – so yes, it IS part of the US.
