You read the banner correct. Ryan confirmed it on his radio show this morning. Next week the Top 13 will sing the songs of Michael Jackson.

Now it is time to pick what you think each contestant will sing on Tuesday’s show. Simply leave your choices in a comment. I will continue bumping this post to the top of the blog.

I have a feeling the girls will do better with the Michael Jackson songs than the guys will.

Um, wasn’t the big hoorah last time that that wasn’t Cook’s version, but Chris Cornell’s? In case you don’t know the answer–yes.
i’ll say im sick of people giving credit to david cook for that his performance wasnt even good when you hear chris cornells version seriously!
I give credit to DC for his performance of CC’s version. It sounded quite the same, but it was very good. DC never claimed it as his own arrangement. Also, at the time, I believe CC gave high regards to DC for using his arrangement. People made controversy where there was none.

Wow, he looks like Steve Tyler right in middle of the 70′s on a really bad day

Chris may have been better but first of all David did an incredible job on the song and it was the week that we started to really notice David for the rockstar that he was so yes, D.C. deserves every bit of credit he got for that performance.

I read that in the future this season there will be Motown and Grand Ole Opry week too.

i hope Danny won’t sing this song. Inasmuch as I’d love to hear his version, some people will again accuse him of using the “dead wife” card.
I think someone THOUGHT they were being funny.

Unfortunately, that is true. While I don’t mind if he mentions his wife before after and during every song, (which would never happen) it would completely backfire.

I would really hope not. First, it’s too soon. Second, DC blew that out of the water and really, it shouldn’t be attempted again.
