Had to listen again this morning. That was just so good!
It just doesn’t get any better than this. If you like easy listening and throwback to fifties big band/swing, this girl can get it done!!! Just an amazing sound from a beautiful young lady.
I do tend to like that stuff. Not exclusively, but I like them. That’s what my Mom listened to when I was growing up.
If you do like that type of music, you MUST watch Chris Botti’s special when it comes on PBS. Incredible.
If there had been no AI, Kat wouldn’t have been doing these wonderful things. Just goes to show you that an Idol contestant doesn’t have to hit #1 on the pop charts in order to be successful at what they love to do. Sing!

Oh wow. If any of you get a chance to see this Chris Botti special on PBS, do so! You have to sit through one song each from Yo-Yo Ma and a violinist whose name I didn’t catch, but after that, Josh Groban & Sting do a duet that’s awesome, Katharine McPhee as you can hear in the video above is awesome, John Mayer sings a Sinatra song that turns out incredible, Steven Tyler comes out looking all rock & roll, but sings a touching song to his Dad, who is in the front row. Sy Smith, who is one of the female background singers on American Idol sang also. It was really a great concert.
Very nice, very nice… question though.
She’s realeasing another pop album this fall, let’s hope its one that actually gets more radio time, but i thought she was gonna do one this spring that it would be released? hm…..
Woo Hoo!!! It’s on at 8:00 tonight!!! (At least it is in my area) And it was Chris Botti live in Boston. Josh Groban is on it too. I know what I’ll be watching tonight!!
Such grace, class, and style in a young woman is so refreshing to see. Everything about her seems so tasteful. Love her rendition of the song. But Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons version is unbeatable.

Absolutly beautiful, I hear she’s making her T.V. debut very soon, she’s 3 years off the show and still one to watch.

Wow. Wonderful .
How can anyone look more perfect ?
Once I figured out I needed Adobe Flash player version 10 it was very nice.
Is it my imagination or is  Kat  remaking herself into a torch singer?
Beautiful.
Kat looks beautiful and sounds fabulous! A standing O, too!
