Eh, I wasn’t a J-hud fan during that season. I wasn’t a big fan of any of them.

I completely agree! I just recently watched several Season 3 episodes and it was painful! And, Fantasia was even worse than I remembered. But, there were so many others who were just plain bad. It was hard to watch.[/quote]
Just how bad was season three? J-Hud finished in 7th place while Jasmine Trias rose to 3rd before being voted off the island.

Season 5 was easily the best!
Well, other than… you know… Taylor winning.

I think it was because of her performance of Summertime. I know lots of you didn’t care for her or that song particularly, but I thought she did an awesome job on it, as did a lot of voters. I think that sealed the deal for her that season.

It was definitely the worst. Jennifer Hudson is still the only success out of that year. I was so tirritated when she got booted off that the rest of that season was mere glimpses every so often just to see who was still there.

Even if Kelly wasn’t my favorite idol everrrrrrr, I say season 1. I love startups and the regulars hadn’t settled into their shticks – heck they weren’t even sure they were going to be regulars. Everyone was fresh and flailing around and had no idea if the show would work, Kinda like the first time the top 12 hit the stage in any season.

I agree with all of you that said “5″ for all your reasons…what a marvelous season for new talent. However, I am Oklahoma born and Oklahoma bred and when I die, I’ll be Oklahoma dead…so, I was really pulling for Carrie the year she won and she will always be my favorite discovery,

I’m pretty easy to please. I just make the most of what I’m currently watching, and sort of forget about the season once it’s over. I look at your list of seasons and can’t distinguish one from another, so there’s no way I could vote.
And honestly, if your banner didn’t say Season 8, I would not be able to even tell you what season we were in. :ermm:
Season 5 was my favorite followed closely by season 7.
Season 7 was my favorite followed by Season 5. Both David Archuleta and Carrie Underwood were my top two favorite singers so far! :wub:
Between Kat, Elliot, Chris & Pickles I don’t see a stronger top 6 ever
Carrie and Bo were the best for me. The two Davids are second.
