If you played for SYTYCD then you are already signed up, you just need to sign in, join the group and pick your team. Of course at this point you can’t really pick anyone since there is no Official Top 36 but you can see how the system works.
The Game will begin with the Top 36 and each week you get to pick 3 contestants for your team. You can change contestants each week. Your team will earn you points based on how they perform, judges comments and other criteria.
