I have teamed the blog up with the All Digital Radio Network and they will be featuring idolbloglive on quite a few of their stations/shows including “The Idol Radio Show” and the “Sir Darryl Radio Experience” that is heard on many internet stations as well as several AM/FM stations and 19 Caribbean stations
“The Idol Radio Show” is hosted by Sir Darryl along side Alan Atteberry of The Official Soul Patrol. The show airs Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at 11PM Eastern / 10PM Central/ 8PM Pacific and allows American Idol fans the ability to call in and discuss both the performances as well as the eliminations respectively. Not to mention that sometimes some of the comments and shoutouts here on the blog may be included in the live “Idol Radio Show”.
I will be adding the radio link back to the top of the navigation which will take you directly to the All Digital Radio Network stream where you will be able to listen in to the “Idol Radio Show” each week as well as many of the other shows that are offered.
This is an extremely exciting time for me and the blog and I hope that some of you will listen in to some of the shows each week.

Hey all,
I am Alan from TheOfficialSoulPatrol.com and Co-Host of the “Idol Radio Show”. Slim doesn’t know this, but I have been an Idol-season lurker of the site since Season 5. I’ve loved his live blogging, even though I haven’t always agreed with his opinions of the performances (seriously, Slim, Sanjaya was NOT that bad!).
Just to let you all know, the last two shows from Season 2 of “Idol Radio Show” will air this coming Tuesday and Wednesday, January 6 and 7, at 11 PM ET / 10 PM CT / and 8 PM PT. The Season 3 Premiere of “Idol Radio Show” will be Wednesday, January 14 (same time slot). Season 2 repeats will continue to air on Tuesdays (same time slot) through February 10. Our first live Tuesday show will happen the following week, February 17 (same time slot), at which point we will be on every Tuesday and Wednesday through the end of the “American Idol” season. (I hope that all makes sense.)
It should be an interesting season on AI with the addition of Kara DioGuardi and the return of the Top 36 grouping and Wild Card round. Something tells me we won’t be lacking things to talk about this season.
I look forward to reading some of your posts on the air and, hopefully, talking to some of you on the air (we will have an 800 number you can call).

all the shows will be archived so you can listen to them after the fact. I will attempt to find a way to get them to those who are interested in listening if they are unable to when they are live.
as for how I came about this. Well they contacted me and asked me if I wanted to be involved. Of course I do. This is some great publicity for the blog.

while I would love you to be jamming with me on the show, I won’t actually be on the show at all. They will just be featuring stuff from this website on their shows/stations and running ads for the blog so more people will join us
