Nigel Lythgoe and Simon Cowell have teamed up with NBC to bring you another hit reality competition called “Superstars of Dance”. The show will premiere tonight at 9PM on NBC.
The series will pit the greatest dance performers from all over the world against each other in a competition like no other. It will be hosted by Michael Flatley (Lord of the Dance) and co-hosted by Susie Castillo (House of Payne) and will bring us dancers from eight countries. The eight countries currently scheduled to participate include: Ireland, India, USA, Argentina, China, Russia, South Africa and Australia.
I know I will be at least watching tonight but I am not sure if I will be following the show on the blog. If there is any interest from you guys and gals I may but with American Idol right around the corner, I know I will have my hands full.
In the previews I did not see much dancing but a lot a gymnastics and martial arts. I will be skipping this one.
I would be exhausted just watching Michael Flatley riverdance around the stage.

I wonder if the show will be as good as SYTYCD?
I’ll be able to watch the first hour but when The Unit starts here it’s time to change channels. My wife won’t miss an episode of it for Armageddon.
