Bush is the worst president in the histoy of the United States of America. Putting another Republican in the White House is like putting a loaded gun to your own head. Electing McCain would be the stupidest choice America ever made! The old fool thinks the economy is sound, for God’s sake! He won’t regulate the “golden parachute squad” of CEOs who have raped the nation and will only continue to slake their own greed at our expense.
Wake up people! Let’s try something that isn’t more of the same! (Where’s that soapbox emoticon when you need it?)
I need a soapbox emotie, too. But….I am not going to get on my soapbox here. I love ya, Doc. I never would have guessed we were such polar opposites politically. Well, that is what makes the world go ’round.

I am sick of it too but this was just hilarious and I had to post it
I wasn’t commenting on your posting it, Slim. I’m just sick of..well, nevermind, I already said it. lol
Truth is, at the end of every term, virtually every politician would fail the test. They probably shouldn’t call them campaign promises, because most are never kept.
I can’t say that I am ever sick of truth whether done with humor or in all seriousness.
The media is so anti Republican that they constantly degrade them
I’m at work, so I can’t watch this..but I really don’t think I want to. I am so sick of all the president bashing and candidate bashing (both sides). Ugh.
Amen to that.

I hear what you’re saying Angie. Normally I’m sick of it too, but for some reason I’m entertained by it this year. I’m never passionately political, but they’re really putting on a show for us this go ’round! I’m always waiting for the next ‘drama’ to arise. The Letterman thing – I just think that’s funny for humor’s sake. He’s done those “Great Moments in Presidential Speeches” bits for years, not just at election time. It just makes me giggle, and that’s always a good thing. But I will say I’m sick of all our local political ads. I find no entertainment in those whatsoever.

I saw that on Letterman and laughed my ass off. One of my favorite things on his show is “Famous Moments in Presidential Speeches”. And before anyone says that this is unfair to Bush – etc., etc…. I see it simply as comedy and not as politics. If the same skits were done about the Clintons, Obama, etc., I’d laugh just as much.
