Wow. How terrible can one be? That was by far the biggest train wreck I have ever seen. Should Jessica try out for American Idol or should she just cash in her singing chips? Leave your thoughts in a comment.

i don not care about jessica’s singing…what attracts my attention is the dancers…they are really good especially the girl.
She needs to cash in her singing chips. I am so sick :sick: of hearing her on the radio. When she is on I change the station. How in the world did she have a #1 hit :w00t:

In my opinion, she never would make it to the top twelve on American Idol.
I’ll stick with “not good”. She has a powerful voice and I’ll give her credit for some talent when you compare her to the average person. I just find fault in certain aspects of her voice which are hard to describe in writing. I just don’t enjoy her.

Oh, I’m not saying she’s a BAD singer. I said she’s better than most of us. I just don’t think she’s as good as she should be for someone who is a famous singer. I give her credit. The girl can belt out a song.

Wow! I didn’t see anything out of the ordinary about her performance. She is not the greatest but she can sing. Despite being booed for recording a country CD this song I believe made it all the way to #1in the Country charts. I want to be as bad a singer as she is.
100% agree with you, Joyce. Reality TV has made right many “stars” that would have never made it otherwise. The fact that Jessica is still around at all is a tribute to her (or her manager’s) marketing skills. Just my opinion, of course.
I’ve always thought Jessica was not a good singer. I think she has a very powerful voice and yes, she can sing better than most of us ‘regular’ people, but I really don’t think she’s good enough to be famous for her singing. I never really knew of her until she had her reality show with Nick, and the first time I heard her sing I was like, “hmmm, she’s not that good”. I think if it weren’t for that reality show, she’d pretty much be a nothing now. She’s making lots of money off her various products now, and those too would not have been around had it not been for the Newlywed show. I think her sister Ashlee is a better singer. Not that I would buy an album, but to compare them I think Ashlee is better.
