There is an article at ew.com today about Jordin and her “outburst.” Though she says she would have worded it differently, she does not regret saying what she said. Go Jordin!

I actually like Miley. My kids and I have watched Hannah Montana since the first episode. I have no idea how she “really” is, but my mom gut feeling is that she is a pretty good girl who has good parents. I have never once thought she was a skank or any other nasty name.

I say to Jordin, “You GO girl!”

What a freakin’ messed up society we live in when purity and saving oneself is made fun of and looked down upon.

As far as them ‘dating’ at a young age, the dating could have been come over and watch a movie. Who knows? Apparently their parents were ok with it, and well, that is really all that matters. It’s not up to the public or the media to dictate how, when, why and all that.

I am so holding my tongue or else I will get fired up.

Anyway, I’m glad Jordin spoke her mind. Good for her!

Many people who comment on this site think Miley Cyrus is a “bad” girl (I believe she has been referred to as a skank and other such charming words..)and felt that way even when she and the little Jonas were dating and on tour together. She also wears a promise ring. What’s the difference between them?[/quote]
I was not aware that “many” people on here felt that way about Miley Cyrus or had even had the topic come up. I had no idea that she and the Jonas boy were dating/ever dated. I think 15 is too young for dating anyway.

No wonder our society is so messed up! We allow ignorant people like Russell Brand to have two hours of free bashing towards our country, our children, our our morals and values. Was this an awards show or a political convention? The entertainer’s who worked so hard to be honored on this night should be appauled at the lack of consideration this ignorant so called “host” clearly has for them. To make fun of those who are vowing their virginity – what gives him the right? There is a time and a place for political propaganda and the VMA’s is not it. Shame on MTV for allowing this to happen.

Dating could be dating and nothing else. I don’ think Miley is any one of those names. Tabloids try to rip the young performers apart, just to sell their tabloids. It’s not right to make fun of Miley for something no one knows about, just as it’s wrong to do it against the Jonas brothers.

Good for her and those Jonas brothers – I think promise rings are a nice idea. Boo to that crude host who dissed them.
