Update : Us Magazine is reporting it is Twitch and Joshua
People.com is reporting that 2 of the finalists (Twitch and Joshua) from So You Think You Can Dance have been hospitalized after collapsing before rehearsal on Saturday. Mary Murphy has confirmed the situation.
“Two went in [Saturday] and so there was no more rehearsals, and today [Sunday] all the rehearsals were called off,” ballroom expert and SYTYCD judge Mary Murphy confirmed to PEOPLE at Fox’s 2008 Teen Choice Awards in L.A. on Sunday. “The kids are completely dehydrated – two of them. I’m sure they’re doing a lot of blood work to see if there’s anything else.”
I will continue to update this post with any information as it is leaked. Our prayers and well wishes go out to both Twitch and Josh.
Dehydration can be deadly. I nearly died from it. In advanced cases, the potassium and serum creatinine in your blood spike to incredibly high levels. These two critical electrolytes being out of balance can signal the heart to stop beating and stop respiration cold. Neither situation is conducive to life.
I’m sure that these two are in such terrific physical condition that their lives are not in grave danger. However, one can never be too careful with dehydration. More later on some unexpected causes of dehydration.

I cannot imagine how hard these kids have to work this last week of the season. I am sure they are physically, mentally, and emotionally drained. Apparently they are dehydrated as well. I do hope they are ready by Wednesday.

I hope they get better by Wednesday ! Hopefully it’s just dehydration. They are probably working their you know what off !
