I liked Kelly’s coronation song. It was all her voice and style that made it. The emotion was raw and right out in the open, too.
Since then? Bunch of crap until Cookie got a good one.
The more I listen to it, the more I like it.

That’s not actually correct: they did release TWIK, ISHFWILF, and DB today, as the live recordings not as studio versions though. Cookie made the top 4 song spots on Itunes.

Nope only the song that will be the winners single is released to iTunes after the finale. Sorry about that. I know a lot of people are looking for the others as well but there won’t be any. Damn them iTunes people.

The songs that are chosen for the Idols are terrible. This one is no exception. Don’t get me wrong, Cookie did the most he could with it. But a lame song is a lame song regarless of who sings it.
Someone on here said that if Cook wins he will be stuck having to deal with the Idol machine and not really break out until he gets out from under it. I think this song is a prime example of that. Hopefully he will get more to pick from once he gets to the studio.
I have this image of Cookie sitting in the hotel listening to all the song choices and saying “Which of these is the best of the bad? And what can I do to make it as tolerable as possible?”
To Quote a famous saying as bad as I hate to”It was just ok. for me”.
As a hard core Cookster I couldnt’ be happier for my man. But given the fact it was a rush rush quickly thrown together kinda song, thats all it was for me.
The melody was slightly drab and repetitive, Cookies voice made it as good as it was.
Hopfully he will get a slight rest now, then take some of his material ideas, compile some more and go into a recording studio with the writers and musicans and with careful thought create a winner!!!!!!!!!!

This is probably the best coronation song out of all the seasons. This will do really well once it hits the radio airwaves. Good job, Cookie.
I like it and can totally imagine hearing it on the radio real soon.
